Hours of Operation:

The first day of class is the Wednesday after Labor Day. Classes are from 8:45am to 11:45am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We follow the Troy Area School District calendar. If Troy Schools are closed, we are closed. If Troy Schools have a delay, we open at 11:45am and close at 2:45pm. Our last day of class is the Friday prior to Memorial Day.

Classroom Structure:

Spire Nursery School currently offers three classrooms. Each room has a qualified teacher and in aide. The class size is usually under 15 students. We work hard to prepare an educated lesson plan with projects for each school day (please refer to our newsletter for our current lesson plan). Our teachers meet once a month to organize a schedule focusing on Kindergarten readiness skills. Depending on age and abilities, teachers may add projects or simplify projects within their classrooms. Each month we incorporate a Bible story, color, number, baking day, and shape. Each week we focus on one alphabet letter. We send home daily projects that can be reinforced at home to further the children's learning experience. We also do crafts to celebrate monthly holidays and invite parents to our holiday programs.

Our Daily Schedule:

8:45 - 9:00 Free play
9:00 - 9:30 Circle Time
9:30 - 10:15 Craft and Table Time
10:15 - 10:40 Songs
10:40 - 11:00 Snack
11:00 - 11:30 Free play
11:30 - 11:45 Review and Get Ready to go home

Tuition Fees:

All expenses are paid through our tuition. The daily rate is $14.00 per child. There is also an Insurance Surcharge of $5.00 a month and a one-time $25.00 Snack Fee for snacks throughout the year. We offer classes 2 days or 3 days per week. Payments are due the first Friday of each month and are subject to late fees after 15 days.
